Bisbee, 89, of Stetson Rd., Auburn, passed Tuesday, July 8, at Central Maine Medical Center. She was born in Farmington on April 23, 1914, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Ingersol) Tirrell. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Canton for several years. She was also an active member of the Universalist Church in Canton, where she performed duties as the Choir Director and Sunday School Superintendent. She was an accomplished violinist and pianist. She displayed her musical talents at many Contra Dances for the summer campers in Canton, church and Eastern Star playing a "Richardson" violin constructed by her great-grandfather. She continued to entertain at Schooner Estates for the residents well into her 80's. She served on the entertainment committee for several years at Schooner Estates where she lived for 14 years. She assisted her husband with clerical duties associated with the Canton Water District and the Town of Canton where he served as the Tax Collector for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Downey and husband Joseph of Auburn; nephews, Hartley Tirrell Jr. of Livermore, Lawrence Tirrell of Saco and Robert Hartley of Falmouth. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post 6279, Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post 250, and Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post 273. Mr. Boer was born Sept. 25, 1934, in the Adams County town of Lincoln, to John M. and Hazel (Bisbee) Boar, Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving for eight years, until he was injured and went on disability. After returning to Adams he worked part-time painting signs. Survivors include three sisters, Betty Rose, Grand Marsh, Wis., Doris M. (Kenneth) Collins, Friendship and Isabel L. Born in Auburn, April 26, 1922, the daughter of Eldon G. and Cyrena (Carter) Bisbee, she was a graduate of Edward Little Hight School in Auburn. Mrs. Chadburn worked for several area businesses as office and credit manager. She married Hermon J. Chadburn in 1941 and he died in 1972. Survivors include a daughter, H. Jean Gran and her husband, Barry of Palmetto, Fla; two sons, Lawrence M. of Auburn and Eldon J. and wife, Nina of Mishawaka, Ind; eight grandchildren, Mark E. Tardif and Christopher S. Tardif of Connecticut, Tina, Karen and Dawn Chadburn all of Auburn and Tony and Timmy Chadburn of California, all of whom were he passion in life along with her eight great-grand-children; a brother Amasa and his wife, Elizabeth of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and long time friend, Connie Michaud and family.
