There were few Wishers then, especially in that area. James G. (Amanda's father) was a brick wall until just recently. Old tombstones in a small cemetery in Fairfield had been used for pavers. Someone turned one over and found they were tombstones. This is were the info came from to connect David and Eleanor Wisher to James G. As near as I can tell, they were the only Wishers in Fairfield at that time so it seems likely there is a connection here. In that case, you and I are 4th cousins. | Wisher, Amanda J. (I18458)

| 282 | (Research):Obituaray (source unknown--provided by Karen Euritt: "Mortuary Record. Bisbe. Walter Wesley Bisbe, son of Lena Bisbe Johnston was born December 19th, 1903 in Boston, Ohio and died July 18th, 1917, in Lockport, N. Y., after a long painful illness which he bore with a spirit of patience and fortitude far beyond his years. He seemed to realize for many months that he could not get well and seemed so reconciled to God's will, telling his mother in the quiet moments in the sick room in the long weary nights, that perhaps it was better for him to go now and his cheerful, hopeful attitude toward the coming change is such a comfort to the bereaved family in their hour of grief. His funeral was held from the home 60 Grand street, Friday afternnon, July 20th and he was laid to rest in Glenwood his casket covered with beautiful flowers, the gift of many loving friends.
