2746 Hezikiah Holmes lived in Pembroke, Mass. until 1773; he then moved to Springfield, Vt. and later to Kingsborough, Vt., where he died. He was a lieutenant in the King's Service under Capt. John Loring and served in the Expedition to Crown Point from Feb. 18th to Oct. 27th, 1746.

He was an American officer in the Revolutionary War for two years.
