Also, "Asaph Bisbee, list of men mustered in Plymouth County by James Hatch, Muster Master between July 26 and Aug 18-1777, Capt. Stower's Co., Col. J. Robinson's Reg't." Also, "Capt. Calvin Partridge's Co., Abijah Stearn's (Plymouth Co.) Reg't., marched April 6, 1778, discharged 7-2-1778; service 2 mos. 28 das. at Dorchester Heights." Asaph Bisbee was Precinct Janitor, and lived in Carver during 1799, 1801, and 1803. The 1790 US Census for Massachusetts lists, "Asaph Bisbee of Plympton, Plymouth Co., 2 m. and 2 fem." 1790 Census, Asaph Bisbee of Plympton lists himself, one male 16 or older, and two females in his household. 1800 census shows 6 children in this household: 2 boys and 1 girl under 10; 2 boys and 1 girl between 10 and 15 years old. Parents listed between 26 and 44 years old. According to History of Plymouth County, D. Hamilton Hurd, Compiler, J.W. Lewis & Co, Phila, 1884: Asaph Bisbee served at the Gurnet in Plymouth Harbor, 1777. Among men raised as a guard under General Heath in and about Boston...for three months, 1778.
