Married:
- Charles' younger sister Olive S. Bisbee married Charles Daniels and they were living in Cisco, Texas, by 1884. No doubt they maintained contact with Charles, because in 1895, Charles Andrew Bisbee moved his family to Cisco also. Left behind was his eldest daughter, Cora May who was said to have never seen them again. One of his sons, Elmer Myron, recalled beginning the trip with a long wagon ride, then boarding a train that took them to Texas (as told to Bobbie Ray Bisbee, Cisco, Texas.)
According to his great grandson, Bobbie Bisbee of Cisco, Charles Andrew deeded all his mineral and oil rights to an orphanage at Weatherford, Texas, near Fort Worth. The orphanage no longer exists.
Granddaughter Ruth Bisbee Lamb (deceased) recalled that Charles Andrew was a tall man with blue eyes, and he always had a bit of peppermint candy for the children. He often worked in his potato garden, even on cold, damp days, an activity that probably contributed to his death. She remembered that Charles Andrew was buried on a wet, muddy day (in 1929). He was taken from his house to the nearby cemetery in the back of (son) Jessie's pickup truck which slipped and slid in the mud. Ruth feared the casket would slide off the back of the truck (it didn't).
