      The 1790 US Census for Maine lists, "Charles Bisbey, Jr., Georgetown, Lincoln Co., 2 m. and 2 fem." There is no listing for 1810 or 1820.

      Charles Bisbee, Theophilus Batchelder and Elijah Drummond, all of Georgetown, made an inventory of the estate of Christopher Blaisdell of Georgetown.

      Records of soldiers and sailors of the Revolutionary War from Mass. shows, "Charles Bisbee Jr., Private Capt. Freedon Chamberlains's Co., Gen. Thomas' Reg't., order for bounty coat or its equivalent in money, dated camp Roxbury, 11-9-1775."

      Charles Bisbee was a jeweler and watch repairer for some time and worked at his trade in Brunswick, later moving to Indiana.

      Old New York City Directories list the following Charles Bisbees:
      1820, Watchmaker, 89 Reed St. 1823, Diamond Cutter, 166 Broadway.
      1824, Jeweler, 159 West. St.
      1826-7, Jeweler, Houston St.
      1828-9, Jeweler, Houston St.

      The "Indiana Signal" of Aurora, Ind. mentions the following physicians in Aurora in August, September and October of 1836: Dr. Sutton, Dr. Tarbet, Dr. Buchanan. [3]
