    • According to second great granddaughter, Karen Ann Woods Euritt: "After William O. died, to support herself, Lena started a small grocery store in Lockport. It was open weekdays until 10:00 P.M. at night. Lena's father Jehu Iles, who lived on the other side of town, would go to the store and help her out, because she was frail. She had four children to support. She had big baskets with fruits and vegetables stacked in the aisle way."
