Among the many series of gravestone transcriptions published in The Mayflower Descendant is this series, published in Volume 7 [1905]. The transcriptions were made in 1895, and contain stones dated through 1860. Time has taken its toll on some of these stones, and some epitaphs are no longer legible. This record of the inscriptions as they existed in 1895 is therefore a valuable resource for Kingston researchers. Note that these are not literal transcriptions - they are abstracts of the information found on the gravestones.), p. 28.
