      "Nov. 5, 1926-May 27, 2002(SS# 301-12-3221)
      "Rex K. Wisher, 75, of Delphos, died 10:10 a.m. May 27 at his residence.
      "He was born Nov. 5, 1926, in Delphos to Walter and Oma "Zula" (Swartz) Wisher. On Dec. 14, 1951, he married Lois Coombs, who died Dec. 13, 1993.
      "Survivors include two daughters, Julie Wisher and Jody (Michael) Wisher-Slonaker of Delphos; three sons, Stan (Karen) Wisher of Elida, Frank (Terrie) Wisher of Delphos and Max (Toni) Wisher of Middle Point; seven grandchildren, Derek, Todd, Kevin, Holly, Lindsey Wisher and Robbie and Anna Slonaker.
      "He was preceded in death by a brother, Max Wisher.
      "Mr. Wisher retired from West Ohio Gas and co-owned a trenching business for years. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3035, American Legion Post 268 and Delphos Eagles Aerie 471. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the European and Pacific Theater for six years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed hunting, golfing, sports and his grandchildren. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School.
      "Private military graveside services will be conducted for immediate family only by the Delphos Veterans Council 11 a.m. Thursday at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society."
