    • This family lived in the area of Wattsburg and Lowville, Pa. Leon Taylor, Lowville, Pa. was bedridden for many years with a strange and rare disease in which a limestone formation entered his system, paralyzed him, and gradually "turned him to stone". He lay in his bed, by a window, and waved to passersby, who knew him, from far and wide. [5]
