      8 Feb 1908, Elvira Bisbe of RFD #1, Nessen City, Benzie, Michigan, widow of John Bisbe states she was married to John Bisbe on 8 Jul 1866 at North Norwich, New York, by Lewis E. Carpenter, J. P., and her maiden name was Elvira Wedge. Witnesses Jennie and William Orr, neighbors of John and Elvira Bisbee, attest that they knew them since they came to the vicinity over twenty years ago and they saw said John Bisbe lying dead.
