    • Rufus Bisbee was a cooper and a shoemaker. He lived in Brunswick, Maine in 1875. Records of the Massachusetts Militia for the War of 1812 shows: "Rufus Bisbee, Sergeant in Capt. W. Webster's Company, Lt. Col. Thomas' Regiment raised at Dunham, Maine. Service 9-7 to 9-13 1814." [5]
