  • Notes 
    • Noah Bisbee served his country in two wars. Mexican War he enlisted in the Mississippi Rifle and fought under General Zachary Taylor until the close of the war. In the Civil War he lost a leg at the battle of Antietam. was honorably discharged and received a pension. Was Post Master in Lanesboro many years.

      One Noah Bisbee purchased property near Harburg, Susquehanna County, Pa. in 1871. Noah d. "Aged 82 yrs." [4]
    • No record of children. Noah family information from William Austin, son of Sylvia A. (Bisbee) Austin #10-421. This information was compiled by Angelia Azuba (Sweet) Bisbee, his great grandmother. William has a photocopy of the original in her handwriting.
