Notes - Everett S. Bisbee was in Merridale doing business from the 1880's for a considerable time. He had a general store and was postmaster from 1900 to 1949. The business is now (circa 1956) managed by his son, Ruez Bisbee, who is also town clerk of Meredith, N. Y. Most of the above information was obtained from Everett Sumner Bisbee in 1946, 1947 and 1948. [2]
