• Notes

  Harlan Melville Bisbee received his A. B. from Bowdoin College in 1898 and his Master's at Harvard in 1905. He taught in Rumford Falls High School in 1898 and 1899; principal, Brewer High School, Brewer, Me., 1899 to 1904. He did graduate work at Harvard 1904-1905 and was Principal of Robinson's Seminary, Exeter, N. H. 1905-1928. He was associate Director of Education, University of N. H. from 1928, also Director of Appointments, University of N. H. from 1935. Harlan Melville was also Police Commissioner, a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and Kappa Delta Pi. He authored "Latin Without Tears" and "Social Studies as a Background for Teachers." His office was at the University of New Hampshire in 1942. [2]
