BISBEE, Ralph R. Age 93, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, passed away at a local hospital in Roseburg, Oregon, on July 11, 2005. He was born at Cafe Ogden, Long Island, New York, on December 10, 1911, to the late Robert and Ethel (Redhead) Bisbee. He moved to California when he was 9 years old and stayed there until coming to the Roseburg area in 1970. He also lived in Azalea, Riddle, Canyonville, and Myrtle Creek. Myrtle Creek is where he spent the bulk of his time in the local area. Ralph was retired from General Dynamics
and then he was a Jack of all trades but did a lot of locksmith and leather work. Ralph never met a stranger and loved everyone. He always wanted to be a Forest Ranger but working as Fire Watch for Roseburg Lumber was as close as he got. Whatever he did he just wanted to be useful. His first wife, Meta preceded him in death. He was married to Louise Rice on December 6, 1963, in Redlands, California, and she passed away on December 27, 2002. Surviving are two sons, Rob Bisbee of Roseburg; Mark and his wife, Teddy Rice of Fortine, Montana; one daughter, Nancy and her husband, William Turk of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mary Manuel of Haines, Alaska; Ollie Bisbee of Everett, Washington; and Barbara Bradford of Temecula, California; one granddaughter, Theodora Turk of Eugene; three nieces and one nephew. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2005, at
Mountain View Memorial Chapel with Chaplain James Osborne officiating. Disposition was by cremation. MOUNTAIN VIEW MEMORIAL CHAPEL at Myrtle Creek is assisting the family.
