    • One Elisha Bisbee was a saddler. Elisha and his brother John, with about 1250 others were partners in the unfortuante "Land Bank of 1740." (see brother John Bisbee, Jr.)

      A petition of the General Court in 1735 for the establishment of a township at Gray, Maine, was signed by 60 persions including Elisha Bisbee. The petition was read and concurred in the House of Representatives, (Mass.) 3 Dec. 1735. At this time Maine was part of Massachusetts.

      Elisha Bisbee was a representative of Pembroke 1725, 1727, 1730-1734, 1736 (History of Plymouth County, D. Hamilton Hurd, Compiler, J.W. Lewis & CO, Phila, 1884.)

      Son Ebenezer was the executor of the estate of Elisha Bisbee of Pembroke. [2]
