    • From the records of the Second Church of Christ, Pembroke, the following: "Baptized John, son of Deacon John Bisbey by Rev. Gad Hitchcock," 29 Apr. 1750.

      The US Census for Vermont, 1790, lists the family of Bisbee as residing in Springfield, Vt., Windsor County, and credits them with "2 m.16 and up; 3 m. under 16, and 4 fem."

      The Vermont Revolutionary War Rolls Record as follows: "John Bisbee 2nd Sergeant, Marshe's Reg't, Lieut. Little's Co. Oct. 1778" "Also in Col. Wood's Reg't from Springfield, Vt. 1780." "Also 1st Lieut. Abner Bisbee's Co., Springfield, Vt. 1780."
