      The list of soldiers and sailors of the Revolutionary War from Massachusetts shows:

      "Abner Bisbee of Plympton, Private, Capt. John Bradford's Company, Col. Theophilus Cotton's Reg't. which marched on alarm of 4-9-1775 to Marshfield, service 3 days."

      Also, "Corporal, list of men mustered in Plymouth Co. by Muster Master John Hatch dated July 8th 1778, Capt. Cole's Co. Jacob's Reg't. Enlistment to expire 1-1-1779."

      Also, "Capt. Joseph Cole's Co. Col. John Jacob's Reg't. Enlisted Jan. 15, 1778, service 11 mos. 19 das. at Rhode Island."
