- (Research):THE MERRILL ADVOCATE, Sept. 11, 1894: Sept. 4, 1894, William Bisbee died at his home in Withee, Wis. The remains were brought to this city, where the funeral occurred last Thursday from the West Side Presbyterian Church, Rev. H. L. Brown officiating. Mr. Bisbee was for a number of years a resident of this city, and while here was engaged in the lumber business. Two or three years ago he moved to Withee where he has since resided. Mr. Bisbee leaves a wife, father, D. P. Bisbee of Covina, California, three sisters, Mrs. G. Archerr and Mrs. C. Anderson, Drummond, Wis. and Mrs. Wm. Faulk. Eagle River, Wis., two brothers Frank and E. T. Bisbee of this City. He was born at Newport, Wis. May 25, 1859, consequently he was 35 years 3 months 10 days of age at the time of his death. [2]
