    • The 1790 US Census for Mass. lists, "Gamaliel Bisbee Pembroke, Plymouth Co. 4 m. 5 fem"

      The Records of soldiers and sailors of the Revolutionary War from Massachusetts shows, "Muster Roll of Co. A militia marched from Pembroke to Marshfield on alarm April 19, 1775 Elijah Cushing, Capt.; service 2 days, Gamaliel Bisby Private."

      Also, "Gamaliel Bisby, Private, Capt. Joseph Stetson's Co. Col. Dyke's Reg't.; pay abstract for mileage and travel; allowance to and from camp dated Nov. 1776; service at Dorchester Heights."

      Gamaliel died "Aged 84 yrs. consumption." [2]
