"Mrs. Macie Ellen Bisbee, seventy-eight of Carringer St., Cambridge Springs died unexpectedly Wednesday evening at Union City Hospital.
"Born in Wattsburg on April 26, 1889, Mrs. Bisbee was the daughter of Levi and Jane Black Drake.
"She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Clark Bisbee who died in 1961.
"Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Merle (Hazel) Humes, Mrs. Ted (Luella) Thornton both of Cambridge Springs, Mrs. James (Ruth) Shellhamer of Edinboro and Mrs. Clifford (Inabell) Collins of Ontario, California; three sons, Clarence of Venango, Benjamin of Waterford and Levi of Portsmouth, Va.; two stepsons, George Bisbee of Union City and Myrl Bisbee of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; two brothers, Elmer Drake of Union City and Levi Drake of Waterford; also 24 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
"Friends may call at the H. William VanMatre Funeral Home, Cambridge Springs, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
"Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., conducted by Reverend Kenneth McDeavitt of the Bible Baptist Church.
"Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery, Cambridge Springs." |
