Virgil V. Capozzi of 510 North 6th St., Olean died Saturday (Feb. 20, 1965) at St. Francis Hospital where he had been a patient for a week. He was born in Olean April 2, 1899, a son of John and Mae Bannister Capozzi. A life long resident here, he operated Capozzi's Restaurant on E. Sullivan St. since 1946. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margery Bisbee Capozzi; a son, William V. Capozzi, a granddaughter, a brother, John Capozzi, a sister, Mrs. Helena Costello, a half-brother Dennis Manessis and several nieces and nephews, all of Olean. Another son, Virgil A Capozzi died Jan. 7, 1963. Friends my call 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Halwig Funeral Home, Inc. where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 23, 1965). The Rev. Harold M. Garrettson, pastor of the Open Bible Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. View Cemetery. |
