"Failing to rally after an operation for goitre three weeks ago, Mrs. Vern Bisbee, fifty-three, died early Saturday morning in Hamot hospital. She resided at 1845 Buffalo rd. She had spent most of her life in this section and was well-known. Her health had been failing for the past year. She was the former Addie Southworth. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edmund Curry, Wesleyville; her father, John Southworth, Girard; a brother, Fred Southworth, Erie; and six grandchildren. Last rites will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. in the late residence. Interment will be in Erie cemetery." |
