| Text | "Mortuary Record. Bisbe. Walter Wesley Bisbe, son of Lena Bisbe Johnston was born December 19th, 1903 in Boston, Ohio and died July 18th, 1917, in Lockport, N. Y., after a long painful illness which he bore with a spirit of patience and fortitude far beyond his years. He seemed to realize for many months that he could not get well and seemed so reconciled to God's will, telling his mother in the quiet moments in the sick room in the long weary nights, that perhaps it was better for him to go now and his cheerful, hopeful attitude toward the coming change is such a comfort to the bereaved family in their hour of grief. His funeral was held from the home 60 Grand street, Friday afternoon, July 20th and he was laid to rest in Glenwood his casket covered with beautiful flowers, the gift of many loving friends. Little children, little children, Who love their redeemer, Are the jewels, precious jewels; Bright gems for his crown." | |
