Informant: Olive A. Young, MD, Warren State Hospital, Conewango twp, Warren County, Pennsylvania. Nettie Hurst, widowed, of Wattsburg, Erie County, Pennsylvania, died at 1:10 p.m. on 26 Mar 1953, at Warren State Hospital, where she had been an inmate for 5 years. She died as a result of hypostatic pneumonia (5 days), fracture of the left femur (1 month), chronic myocarditis (unknown duration), and psychosis--simple senile deterioration (8 years). She had suffered a fall to the floor in the hospital ward at 10 a.m. on 27 Feb 1953, and no other person was involved. Nettie was born 1 Jun 1864 in New York State. Her father was Cheyne Bisbee and her mother's name was Calista (maiden name unknown). Burial was 28 Mar 1953 at Wattsburg Cemetery, Wattsburg, Erie County, Pennsylvania, by M. C. Glenn, Union City, Pennsylvania. |
