    • Robert Stanley Smith served as a private in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947, and was station in France. He was owner-operator of the Bolton Insurance Agency and was also employed by the K.L. Smith Insurance Agency at Willimantic, which is operated by his brother Royden Frank Smith, Jr. [4]
