      Doris taught in country schools in Osborne County for 3 years and then 17 years in Coldwater and 12 years in Central School in Dodge City. Doris helped organize and served on the board of directors of Meals on Wheels, was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, American University Women and Retired Teachers. [1]
