    • Eleanor Bisbee was a newspaper reporter in Turkey in 1936. She received an A. B. from Tufts College and a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. She was Professor of Philosophy and Psychology at Rober College and the American College in Istanbul, Turkey. She returned to the United States and became a lecturer on Turkish affairs. In 1951 she resided in Palo Alto, Cal. She is the author of "The New Turks," published by the University of Pennsylvania Press. [4]
