    • Thomas Lynn Bisbee attended elementary school in Union City and Erie, Pennsylvania. For a period of time he was enrolled in Devine Word Seminary (Catholic) in Girard, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Erie). Later, Thomas attended Cathedral Preparatory High school in Erie, but left before graduating (he got his high school diploma after joining the military.) Thomas enlisted in the US Air Force and made a lifelong career of it, serving in North Dakota, Florida, Korea and Virginia. He retired at the top rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He was living with his second wife and children in Hampton, Virginia, when he became ill and died at age 55. Tom was 5'10" tall, 170 lbs, with dark blond hair and brown eyes.

      Hampton. Thomas Lynn Bisbee, 55, passed away at his home early Wednesday morning, July 26, 2000, after enduring a long struggle with cancer.
      A native of Erie, Pa., he had been a Peninsula resident since 1988.
      Mr. Bisbee had a distinguished and honored career in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1990 after 26 years of service.

      He served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1990.
      Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Chun Cha Bisbee; five daughters, Sherry Michelle Laks of Miami, Kristina Joanne Byrd of Daytona, Fla., Annette Marie Bisbee of Hampton, Cassandra Lee Bisbee of Charlottesville, Va., and Dianna Lynn Bisbee of Hampton; two sisters, Kathleen Bisbee of Erie and Karen Stanek of Concord, Ohio; his step-mother, Jeanette Bisbee of Erie; a brother Richard Bisbee of Baltimore.
      Friends may call at the Langley Air Force Base Main Chapel Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of a service there at 10. The Chaplain, the Rev. James Chizek, will officiate.
      Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.
      The Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va., is making the arrangements.

      Friends and family are welcome to view daddy from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, at the Langley Air Force Base Main Chapel. A chapel service will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Chaplain James Chizek officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton.
      Arrangements are being provided by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
