  • Notes 
    • In 1901 William H. entered the Postal Service as a rural carrier. The first to drive a car (1914 Model T) in the area. He retired on 20 Aug. 1920 because of ill health. The first employee in Waterloo under the Pension Act; also the only employee on pension for a long time. He was an excellent gardener, enjoying both flowers and vegetables.
