He did graduate work at Harvard 1904-1905 and was Principal of Robinson's Seminary, Exeter, N. H. 1905-1928. He was associate Director of Education, University of N. H. from 1928, also Director of Appointments, University of N. H. from 1935. Harlan Melville was also Police Commissioner, a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon and Kappa Delta Pi.
