| 5738 | Seth Bisbee, in his 15th year, 1804, shipped on a vessel for a three year voyage. After his return, he resumed his studies, and later entered the law office of his brother Noah Jr. in Boston. He enlisted with Noah in 1812, wounded in the same battle, 25 July 1814. At the close of the war, Seth received an honorable discharge and a pension for the rest of his life. He was called Major Seth Bisbee. Seth Bisbee served in the war of 1812 and was wounded at Bridgewater, Ontario. He was on the tax list of Richmond, N. H. in 1811-1815. Seth and Leah Bisby purchased land from the USA and Lydia Miller, New Lisbon, N. Y. in 1818. Seth purchased land in Hartford, Susquehana County, Pa. in 1823 from Asahel Carpenter. (See Montrose, Pa.
