  • Notes 
    • Elisha Bisbee was known as "Deacon." He granted a quit claim deed to John Geer in 1814 and other warranty deeds in 1820, 1825, 1850 and 1854.

      The 1820 US Census for Chesterfield, Mass. lists, "Elisha Bisbee; 1 m. < 10, 2 m. 10 - 16, 1 m. 25 < 45, 4 fem < 10, 1 fem 10 - 16, 1 fem. 26 - 45."

      Elisha Bisbee's will was made Jan. 27, 1858 and was probated 14 July 1860. His wife, Susan, and son, Osman, were name executors. He also bequeathed to his daughters, Mirona, Joanna Buck, Arvilla Robinson, Asenath Wetherill and Ursulla Tilden. The will was witnessed by Asahel and Eliza Burt Bisbee. The inventory was for $114.36 in personal possessions and $550 in real estate.
