"[Andrew G. Mallory's] second marriage was to Martha Rockwood who died in Union City Pennsylvania in the year 1878, the last named wife had lived separate and apart from the said soldier for the last eight years prior to her death." Also, "My late husband was never legally divorced from his wife Martha according to the best of my knowledge and belief." Note that Andrew and Eunice were married in 1876.
