    • From Cheryl Lindsay, Brownwood, Texas: "I am not positive about the year Ruby & Harry were married. My mother told me that she was born on their anniversary and she was born 7-15-39. I don't know if Aunt Ruby meant she (Wanda Rogers Payne) was born the same year they were married or just the same date (July 15).

    • Ruby died of a brain anurysm. She was a member of the "Eastern Star" through which she distributed "seconds" Mattel toys to children on Indian reservations.
