      Anna J. Yale was probably married prior to her marriage to Joel. In the 1930 census, she is said to have married for the first time at age 18--about 1879 or 9 years before she married Jared Kibbe. This raises a question: is Yale her maiden name, or the name of her first husband?
      Anna J. Kibbe shows up twice in the 1900 census. Anna must have been married between 6 June, when she is widowed and living with her mother-in-law (Lucena Kibbe), and 19 June when she is married to Elijah Jackson.
