    • From the Clyde Journal, Clyde, Callahan, Texas, May 12, 1977:
      "Bill Bisbee Retires from Exxon. Bill Bisbee, field gauger of Exxon Pipeline Co. at Abilene retired April 1 after 39 years of service. A native of Cisco, Bisbee joined the company in 1936 as a pipeliner-oiler at Cisco. His operating assignments have included work at Ranger, Truscott, Cisco, Comyn, Ballinger and Winters as pipliner-oiler-engineer, "C" station operator and pipeliner. He also served in 1964 as an inspector in Atlanta, Ga. for Plantation Pipeline. Bisbee plans to pursue his hobbies of fishing, hunting and traveling during his retirement. He is married and the father of three daughters and one son. He and his wife Frances live in Clyde. He has lived in Clyde since 1962. Children are Mrs. Janice Miller and Joyce Smith of Clyde, Jan Canada of Abilene and Joel of Dallas."
