    • Upon her headstone at North Woodstock the name "Cary" is inscribed on the authority of her only son and surviving child; but in the Turner, Maine records under the heading, "A list of marriages solemnized by Ichabod Bonney, Esq., from April 1, 1797," is an entry of which the following is a verbatim et literatim copy. "Rouse Bisbee and Hannah Carrell, both of Butterfield, married Dec. 15, 1797." Thus quoting William Lapham from his book, "Some Descendants of Thomas Besbeech." [3]
