  • Notes 
    • Andrew Bisbee enlisted in the 7th Main Vol. Infantry and was wounded at Seven Oaks, Va. in 1862, losing his right leg. Later he moved to Davenport, Iowa and from there to Cloquet, Minn. In 1885 he moved to Dakota Territory where he took up a V. P. A. homestead near what is now the town of Bisbee, N. D., which was named for him.

      Andrew Bisbee was active in politics and was the first State Senator to be elected from his district. He was also County Commissioner for several years.

      Andrew is buried at Cando, ND. [4]
