    • Joseph Bartlett Bisbee attended Riverside Military Academy which was conducted by his father and later entered Amherst College in 1876, receiving his A. M. in 1884. He was associated with his father, Otis Bisbee, and Harlan P. Amen in 1885 and was headmaster of Riverside Academy from 1895 to June 1913. He was an Elder in the Presbyterian Church and a Mason. He was called "Major" Bisbee. [3]
