  • Notes 
    • Samuel Sylvester Bisbee attended public school in Madelia and business college in St. Paul. Following his schooling he worked in the merchandising, cold storage and grain elevator business for 12 years. He then moved to Minneapolis in 1908 and was superintendent of the refinery for the Midland Linseed Products Co. for another 12 year period. He was thereafter with the Bisbee Linseed Co. of Philadelphia as superintendent of the refinery for 25 years. He retired in 1946.
