  • Notes 
    • Clarence was born at Soloman Bisbee Homestead (Willow Farm). He was brought up on Willow Brook Farm on Sumner Hill. As a young man fell in love with a young lady who died at age 18. Clarence was age 23. Soon after, he accepted the job of caring for a fine bull, which a neighbor was shipping to someone in the Midwest. He chose not to come back and continued on his westward journey to Heppner, Oregon, where his uncle, Timothy Bisbee #8521 [82221] lived. Clarence worked at Gilliam & Bisbee Hardware for a time, did carpenter work off and on, worked for many years for the Forest Service. He had a small ranch, sheep and a few cows, Kahler Basin, close to Spray, Oregon. He never returned to Maine. No children. [4]
