    Text Thomas Damon, son of Thomas and Lydia (Newton) Damon
    b. prob. Ware Aug. 18, 1777; d. prob. in Columbus, Penn. where he is buried; mar. in Ware May 28, 1800 Lovina Furbush b. Oct. 2, 1789; d. May 22, 1863, prob. in Spring Creek, Penn., bur. in Columbus. They are both buried in the David Curtis Cemetery. Lovisa was living in Spring Creek with her son Joseph in 1850. This family settled in Columbus in 1837, coming from Eaton, Madison Co., N.Y. with a family of six children, according to the "History of Warren County".
