Hatch, Daniel Webster, born in Hatch Hollow, Amity Township, on 03/20/1841, passed away at his home on North St. in Union City on Sun. May 2, 1920 at the age of 79 yrs., 1 month, and 12 days. Mr. Hatch was married 01/01/1866 to Cleo Hatch of Indiana; six children were born of this union: Theres M., Arthur C., Samuel Brandon, Jason V., Ruth M., and Florence M. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, all his children except Arthur who died about two years ago. Several brothers and two sisters also survive. One brother, E.W. Hatch lives here. He was a Civil War veteran as were two of his brothers, Cyrus and George. Cyrus was killed in the battle of Fredericksburg. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City." |
