DANIEL H. DAMON son of Thomas and Lovina (Furbush) Damon b. Eaton, N.Y. ca. 1807; d. Putnam Co., Ohio Mar. 21, 1871; mar. Betsey L. ..... b. N.Y. ca. 1818. He was in Clymer, N.Y. with James Damon, whom I believe to be his brother, in 1850. So far cannot prove his parentage. Both James and Daniel were cabinet-makers. He was in Spring Creek, Penn. in the 1860s and in Putnam Co. In 1870. Daniel was administrator of Orlando's estate and sold land that Orlando owned to his wife Betsey.
Children of Daniel H. and Betsey L. Damon:
ORLANDO F. b. N.Y. ca. 1839; d. Lexington, Ky. Apr, 23, 1863 (ae 22 ?). He was a private in Co. I, 100th Ohio Volunteers.
MARRIAH b. N. Y. ca. 1842; in the 1860s she was out west somewhere with George Holden and her father had not heard from her for four years. Later she was Maria T, McMillan.
