"Ruth Bisbee, 65, 724 E. 9th, died Wednesday.
"She was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Copenhagen, Denmark, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie Jensen Larsen.
"Mrs. Bisbee lived in the Erie and Waterford areas most of her life and was a member of the Polish Sharpshooters Ladies Auxiliary.
"Survivors include her widower, Benjamin Bisbee; a daughter, Mrs. Verna (Sue) Wertz of Erie; a son, Thomas B. Bisbee of Meadville; two brothers, Peter Larsen of Erie, and Alfred Larsen of North East; and a sister, Mrs. Jack (Rose Marie) Andrews of Virginia Beach, Va.
"Friends may call at the Franklin L. Rupp Funeral Home, Waterford, today from 7 to 9 p.m, and may attend a service there Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Clinton J. Patchen officiating.
"Burial will be private.
"Memorials may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Department of Neurology, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, 44106." |
