    Text 24 Sep 1884, Declaration for Widow's Pension, Ruth A. Reynolds, resident of Wattsburg, Erie, Pennsylvania, age 46, widow of Erastus D. Reynolds who was private in Co. H, 15th NY Engineer Vols. in the War of 1861. Her maiden name was Ruth A. Bisbee and was married to Erastus D. Reynolds on or about 28 June 1871 at Wattsburg, Erie, Pennsylvania, by Rev. Bryan S. Hill. She was previously married to John W. Reynolds who died Jan 2nd, 1866 at Smyrna, Chenango Co., NY. Erastus D. Reynolds her husband died after discharge from the service of the United States as aforesaid at Wattsburgh, Erie County, Pennsylvania on or about the 29th day of July, 1884, of disease contracted in said service. The children of Erastus D. Reynolds who were under the age of 16 at the time of his death were Mary Jane Reynolds, born 29 Augt., 1873; Frank L. Reynolds, born 28th Nov., 1880, of Wattsburg, Erie County, Pa. Witnesses were Curtis C. Bisbee and H. B. Inman.
