    • 1n 1942 at age 54, Orlo lived on Lakeview Terrace, South Coventry, Tolland Conn, where he was self employed. He stood 5' 7-1/2" tall, weighed 170 lbs, had gray eyes and gray hair, ruddy complexion and scars on his forhead.
    • Orlo was a carpenter and building contractor. In the early 1920s he removed to California where he, his brother Royden Frank Smith, and father Orlando Devillo Smith engaged in housing construction at Los Angeles and Pasadena. By 1927 he was back working as a contractor in Hartford. Later in life he maintained a winter home in Hollywood, Florida. [5]
